A small group, including Keith and I, Jim Lee, Kent MacLean, Eric Ellsworth and others met at the North Shore Community center on April 5th and formed an “ad-hoc” committee to move forward in our commitment to save and adopt Covehead Lighthouse.  We discussed the progress that has been made so far and the work that has to be done prior to May, 2015.

Our main focus was to plan for a larger community gathering to discuss the future plans for Covehead Lighthouse and we decided on a  meeting date of April 26th, 2012 at 7:30pm at North Shore Community Center. Everyone is welcome!

We will provide information at the meeting about the process that we need to undergo to keep Covehead Lighthouse for our community.  We will also be looking for volunteers  to assist us in forming an organization that will guide the process of acquiring our lighthouse as well as a group that would be willing to form a Board of Directors that is committed to keeping the process moving forward.
